The celebration in Tordera of Tournament of Football 7 Memorial Josep Barceló of basis football offers us a new opportunity to demonstrate the great potential of the clubs and Catalan players and it helps to promoting among the citizenship the interest from this sport so rooted at home ours.

he presence of a good number of sportsmen, who belong to very important clubs, makes an a lot interesting and balanced contest foresee. It is certainly thrilling to see like the youngsters, from well small, they try hard to attain its goals.

Tordera has, then, the privilege of organizing for eleventh edition a tournament that will favor the communal life among the players and will allow us to discover new values that in an immediate future will surely be part of the elite of the Catalan football. And everything, moreover, remembering the figure of the former player and excoach of the CF Tordera Josep Barceló.

From the General Secretary's Office of the Sport, we want the sport to be part of the habits, of the lifestyle of the persons. For this motive, I consider very important the sport practice, in this case of the football, from well young. The increase of their medical assistants is a great piece of news for the Catalan sport, which needs to continue growing to sustain the level and prestige and to help to the social construction of the country.

I want to thank publicly the dedication and the appointment to the CF Tordera in the organization of the Tournament. I am conscious of their having poured all their efforts so that the contest is an organizational and sport success, and their bringing many years forming persons, through the football. We need more initiatives like this and the implication of the maximum of Catalan entities so that among all of them we make a step ahead for fostering the physical activity in our society and spreading their benefits from there.

As last, I want to wish the sportsmen and teams arrived from all over the country a lot of luck and I expect that the supporters enjoy a good show.
